Rev. Dr. Alan Bullock

Biography of Rev. Dr. Alan Bullock

Alan Bullock served in the United States Air Force and traveled around the world for four years as an Air Traffic Controller. After his discharge from the military, Alan became involved in the construction business after attending a large Construction/Engineering School. Years of financial success followed, but so did a deep feeling of emptiness and despair. Seeking to fill the God shaped hole in his heart, Alan began a desperate search to find real fulfillment and happiness.

Alan´s desperate search for fulfillment continued, until a close relative began to share about the love of Christ and began witnessing to Alan. On December 14, 1973, Alan fell on his knees and cried out to God for help and was born again.

Alan attended Melodyland School of the Theology; and shortly afterwards, began to travel across America and abroad as an evangelist and Bible teacher, speaking in churches, prisons and to various Christian businessmen and women's conferences. Alan has ministered in over 2,900 Christian meetings both in the United States and abroad in over 29 countries.

Shortly after Alan´s conversion he began to have a series of dreams where he saw the face of a woman he believed he would meet and marry someday. Through a miraculous series of events and a proposal in a telegram to a woman he had never met or seen face to face, Alan married his wife, Anoosh, on November 14, 1976, while ministering in the former Soviet Union. Following her release from that country nine months later, they eventually settled in California, where they founded the first evangelical, multinational church for various people groups fleeing the Soviet Union. In addition Alan has pioneered two other churches throughout the greater Los Angeles area, and served as the associate pastor, under Dr. William McBirnie at the United Community Church, which served a congregation of over 3,000 members.

Alan has served as the Vice-President and Director of World-Wide Prison Ministries, the District Director of Southern California Teen Challenge, the Executive Director for Alabama Teen Challenge, and the Vice President of Administration for the Community Educational Television Network, the Jacksonville Educational Network and the San Antonio Educational Network, affiliates of the Trinity Broadcasting Network. Alan and his wife Anoosh have appeared on numerous radio and television programs around the world, including, the Best of the 700 Club, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Channel 55 Alive, and the Daystar Television Network. Alan has also appeared on numerous special programs on the Joni Show; the NRB’s number one rated Christian talk show. He and his wife also co-host Celebration, Daystar’s flagship, international broadcast which reaches into every country of the world, including Israel.

Ordained ministers, Alan and his wife Anoosh, reside in North Richland Hills, Texas where he also serves as the Executive Assistant to the President, for the Daystar Christian Television Network. The Bullocks have two grown children, David and Talitha.
