West Africa Theological Seminary Urgently Needs Your Help Today

West Africa Theological Seminary (WATS),
day after day, is vigilantly carrying on one of the most crucial tasks imaginable for the Church in Africa - i.e. faithful,
in-depth training of Christian leaders to carry the gospel to the lost. Your support is critical to continuing that
task.
Friends of WATS has organized the David Livingstone Society. This scholarship program will hold its inaugural meeting
in November, 2008.
Thanks to the generosity of the Jonathan Byrd family, during this event elegantly-framed leaves from an original first print edition of the 1611 King James Pulpit Bible will be given away.
The intent is to encourage our supporters to establish one or more scholarships for needy students at
WATS. The following is a list of dates and places for this meeting, to be held at 6:30 PM. Dinner is included in this
event. The program will focus on the impact that WATS is having on the world.
- November 17, 2008, at Rivermont Country Club in Johns Creek, GA
- November 18, 2008, at Smithfield Country Club in Easley, NC
This is a difficult time for many, with financial challenges all over. Yet, our brothers and sisters in Christ at WATS
are praying for God's help as they face dire circumstances. Many of these students have meager incomes, which will not
cover a seminary education. They depend on scholarship aid to continue studying to be pastors, teachers, and church leaders.
